Meet Chris Burt, CPA
I'm a Fort Worth CPA pairing Big Four tax experience with the responsiveness of a small, personal practice.

My background
My education and training have always centered on tax. Now I put that to work for local businesses and families.
I'm a licensed Certified Public Accountant with a Master of Science in Accounting (Tax) from the University of Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Computer Science from the University of Texas at Arlington.
I spent three years at Ernst & Young (EY) in the firm's Tax Technology & Transformation practice, where I was promoted to Senior. I focused on indirect and multi-state sales tax, sales-tax exemptions, and using technology to improve tax and accounting processes for large organizations. That same experience now benefits my small-business clients directly.
Earlier, as a Certified Advanced VITA volunteer at Notre Dame, I prepared free tax returns for international students through the IRS VITA program. It reinforced my belief that good tax help should be accessible and clearly explained.
I started my own practice to bring that same depth to Fort Worth individuals and small businesses, with the kind of proactive, personal, technology-enabled service that larger firms often can't offer. My goal is simple: to be a trusted, year-round advisor to entrepreneurs and growing businesses.
I'm also expanding my Spanish to better serve the growing Hispanic business community in North Texas.
